Papa John's Pizza - Murfreesboro TN

Located in the southeast of Nashville, Murfreesboro is an affluent town with an enviable blend of high-end shopping and entertainment. It is home to several major department stores and boutiques, including Belk, Barnes & Noble, H&M, Old Navy, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy, and Burlington.

The city’s historic roots go back to the early 1790s when land owner and Revolutionary War veteran Colonel William Lytle gave land for the establishment of public square, a cemetery, and the first Presbyterian church. It was initially named Cannonsburgh, but Lytle asked that the community be changed to Murfreesboro in honor of his friend, Colonel Hardy Murfree.

In 1811, Murfreesboro was chartered by the state legislature and designated as the county seat of Rutherford County. The community served as Tennessee’s capital for a short time before Nashville was renamed the state capital in 1826.
